Meet Our Team

Pet sitter Melissa BooseMelissa

Founder, Melissa Boose, has over 17 years of professional pet care experience. She worked for a professional pet sitting company before attending school for veterinary technology and earning her veterinary technician certification, RVT. She provided excellent, compassionate nursing care for hospitalized dogs and cats at a large, well-known specialty hospital in Raleigh, NC, for over 8 years. She left her full time nursing position to devote herself to running Phoebe’s Pampered Pets in late May 2015. Melissa is a proud chihuahua mama and enjoys spoiling her fur baby as well as her handsome bearded dragon. She has a heart for rescue and is an active volunteer with Chihuahua Rescue and Transport, SE. Melissa currently provides vacation care, overnight stays and midday dog walks (Phoebe’s Walking Club) as well as customized medical care.

Carson  is a true pet enthusiast. A proud chihuahua dad, his dream job is taking care of pets all day and working to make them happy. Until then, he has a career in administration. He is an armed forces veteran with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Carson completed pet first aid & CPR training through Pet Tech in March 2017. Carson provides management and bookkeeping support, overnight care, as well as emergency pet sitting backup.

Alexa

Alexa and Melissa worked together for 4 years providing nursing care for hospitalized canine and feline patients. Alexa has an extensive background in veterinary medicine and is the proud mom of 3 spoiled furbabies: 2 pitties and 1 cat. She is an active volunteer with The Positive Pit Bull. Alexa offers overnight care and customized medical care.

 

 LynnLynn & Sandie

Lynn is the most recent addition to Phoebe’s Pampered Pets. She provides administrative support as well as vacation pet care. She has cared for friends’ & family’s cats, dogs, and birds for many years. She currently has 3 spoiled furkids: a papillon mix, a chi mix (pictured here), and a “cat-dog,” (a cat that thinks he is a dog, haha). Lynn completed pet first aid and CPR training through Pet Tech in May 2017. Lynn primarily services the Knightdale & north Raleigh area.
